As we head into the dark days at the end of October, things inevitably start to cool down. Not UK & Irish racing, though
Here we look at the horse racing live streams to end October – and where to watch each race. There is action aplenty and you can watch it live using any of the links provided in the table below.
Monday, Oct 26th | Leicester, Redcar, Ayr, Newcastle, Galway, Wexford |
Tuesday, Oct 27th | Catterick, Chepstow, Bangor-on-Dee, Southwell |
Wednesday, Oct 28th | Nottingham, Taunton, Fakenham, Kempton, Dundalk, Punchestown |
Thursday, Oct 29th | Chelmsford City, Lingfield, Newton Abbot, Southwell, Clonmel |
Friday, Oct 30th | Newcastle, Newmarket, Uttoxeter, Wetherby, Down Royal, Dundalk |
Saturday, Oct 31st | Ascot, Newmarket, Wetherby, Wolverhampton, Down Royal, Ayr |
Sunday, Nov 1st | Carlisle, Huntingdon |
And, of course, the Jumps season is upon us.
The next thing to consider is how where to watch. The good news is that these horse races can all be streamed live to your phone, tablet or desktop PC without any special setup.
Upcoming Races to Stream
Some of the races that you might want to catch live this week include:
- The catterickbridge.co.uk Handicap on Tuesday (14:10 Catterick)
- The Sodexo Gold Cup (at Ascot on Saturday)
- The bet365 Charlie Hall Steeple Case (at Wetherby on Saturday)
- The bet365 West Yorkshire Hurdle Race (also at Wetherby on Saturday)
We’ve had some of the big races during October, including the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes. The race was won well by the Francis-Henri Graffard trained The Revenant.
If you watch a replay of that race from Ascot on Oct 17th, you will see the French horse do one better than last year’s runner-up position.
It was a just reward for running a magical race in which all looked very much timed to perfection.
However, we now turn our focus to the winter months and the National Hunt jumps season which is now getting started.
Enjoy watching the horse racing this week from the comfort of your non-racecourse location – for the moment.
